Sajed is Pakistani and makes his living as a driver. He has a family consisting of a wife, two sons, a mother and two brothers who he had previously supported. His family are not all here in the UAE and they barely have enough money to eat every day.
He lived in a small studio apartment in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and sent money home regularly to support his family.
He had a salary of only AED 2,500, so to try and earn more money he needed to invest in his own transport. After negotiations with a company, he was provided with a new bus and monthly financial commitment.
Due to unforeseen circumstances the transport company filed a case against him for AED 262,833. This would be a struggle for anyone to find, let alone Sajed who had very little earnings. His family are also suffering because of this situation.
