Faraj Fund” settles 10 Million AED debts for 150 inmates

MOI’s Faraj Fund, settled AED 10 million in debts due on 150 insolvent inmates who were detained in national prisons, in addition to providing financial aids for 192 of their families throughout the past year. This information was revealed by the meeting of the Board which tackled the achievements and activities made by the fund throughout the past year.

Furthermore, H.E. Major General Nasser L”Khrebani Al Nuaimi Secretary General of the Office of the Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Faraj Fund, underlined the importance on reinforcing the spirit of cooperation and communication with the segments of society in order to familiarise them with the goals of Fund which represents one of the leading communities in the humanitarian field. In addition to focusing on deepening cooperation with charitable communities so as to contributes in developing the charity business and establishing the mutual goals in this regard.
